Nick Tippett

Nick specialises in corporate finance transactions, business strategy and planning. He has a particular interest in helping businesses and shareholders achieve their strategic goals; whether this is raising finance to implement growth plans, assisting with succession planning or achieving a sale/exit from the business.

Nick’s experience spans a wide range of business sectors, from branded retail to manufacturing, tourism and advanced technologies. He has worked on a number of sales, acquisitions, MBO’s, debt and equity fundraises and due diligence assignments.

Nick has a clear focus on helping businesses achieve their strategic goals, is innovative in his approach to challenges during the deal process and demonstrates strong commercial awareness. During his career, he has supported the founder shareholders of Herring Shoes in growing and exiting their branded business, advised Ayersmont, an affiliate of the Wilson Leisure Group, on their simultaneous multi million pound corporate acquisition and disposal, worked closely with Goonvean on both their targeting and acquisitions as they pursue their growth through acquisition strategy and supported a number of management teams through the buy-out process.

Nick is a Chartered Accountant and has a degree in Business Studies. In 2017, Nick was awarded the Insider Young Deal Maker of the Year. In his spare time Nick enjoys yacht racing, competing in Ironman events and anything else outdoors!
