Daniel is a corporate and business tax specialist in the Truro office with extensive experience of complex tax structuring and risk management. He relocated to Cornwall to join PKF Francis Clark, having qualified as a tax adviser with global accountancy firm KPMG, before spending 15 years working in the City of London.
His previous roles included international tax and advice, tax structuring advice for the investment banking sector, and advising high net worth individuals on UK and offshore investment structures for a leading wealth management firm. Subsequently he became Head of Tax for a finance and technology business, managing a range of tax matters including corporation tax, VAT, employment taxes and cross border trading tax issues.
Daniel heads PKF Francis Clark’s international tax team and from 2019 will represent the UK & Ireland member firms on the PKF International Tax Committee. He leads the firm’s work on Brexit matters. Alongside this, Daniel continues to advise business clients on a broad range of tax issues, with a particular focus on property investment and development, technology, and business restructuring. His specialisms include R&D Incentives, debt and equity structuring, and cross-border taxation.
