Adam spent 2 years at a regional firm in the South West in audit and business services before joining Deloitte in Bristol, spending a further 2.5 years in audit and qualifying as a chartered accountant in 2020. In these roles Adam worked with a wide range of clients, from sole traders and owner managed businesses to international private equity backed companies. Adam’s role at Deloitte in particular involved auditing industry-leading businesses in sectors such as veterinarian care and aircraft engineering/manufacturing, as well as national/international travel to places such as California.
Since joining PKF Francis Clark, Adam has gained advisory experience in financial due diligence/transaction services and company/share valuations. Adam is motivated by helping people and businesses, and has a particular interest in forensic accounting with a keenness to build on his skillset and develop in this field.
Prior to joining the accountancy profession, Adam worked as a sales representative for a national electrical wholesaler having initially completed a graduate business scheme with the company. Adam gained exposure to all facets of the business as part of the graduate scheme, and as a sales representative was particularly involved in the renewable energy sales side of the business.
Adam’s academic achievements to date include a masters degree with distinction in accounting and finance and a bachelors degree with first class honours in history.
Adam loves football and likes to follow other sports such as tennis and rugby particularly during major tournaments/events. Other interests include skiing, travelling to different places, being by the coast, and all-inclusive holidays.
